Plants 101: Introduction to the Green World
A fully online, self-paced course designed to provide a basic understanding of plant biology, ecosystems, and the particular plants native to the Northeast region. This course is also appropriate for individuals who have some plant knowledge and would appreciate a refresher. If you are new to the world of plants and interested in our Basic Certificate, we recommend taking this course before enrolling in our foundational certificate courses, Plant Form and Function, Plant Families, or Plant Ecology. Takes approximately 12 hours to complete.
