Harvesting the Landscape: Exploring and Tasting Native Edibles
Explore the world of native edible plants through a program that blends practical skills with bigger-picture ecology. Start with a panel of experts covering ethical foraging, culinary uses, and how to grow edible native species at home. Then dig into hands-on activities including a wild plant tasting and planting, plus a chance to take home your own edible plant. The experience wraps up with a guided tour of Long Pasture's native edible garden so that you can see these species thriving in action.
This workshop is co-hosted by Mass Audubon and Native Plant Trust.
Native Plant Trust members can register for the program here.
Mass Audubon members, and members of the general public can register for the program here.
