In addition, we will be honoring three outstanding leaders in conservation, Dr. Jonathan Foley, and Abby and Peter Coffin.

Dr. Jonathan Foley, Founder's Medal Award
Dr. Jonathan Foley is a renowned environmental scientist, sustainability expert, and Executive Director of Project Drawdown–the world’s leading resource for climate solutions. He is dedicated to addressing global environmental challenges, and his groundbreaking research on climate change, ecosystems, and food security has positioned him as a trusted advisor to governments, foundations, and businesses worldwide. Jon has published more than 130 peer-reviewed publications in leading journals like Science and Nature. He is recognized as a Highly Cited Researcher by Thomson Reuters and among the top 1 percent of global scientists in ecology and environmental science.
Abby and Peter Coffin, Distinguished Leadership Award
Abby and Peter Coffin embrace the principles of Native Plant Trust with inspiration, sincerity, and generosity of spirit. Together, they are tireless advocates for protecting and conserving the land and waterways of our nation. During her tenures on the board, council, and many Native Plant Trust committees, Abby has embodied true board leadership. Her thoughtful ideas, insights, and direction have sustained and greatly improved Native Plant Trust programs and operations. Peter is the founder and executive chair of Breckinridge Capital Advisors—an investment management company emphasizing sustainability in its income strategies–and recently completed his term as Chair of the Board of The Trustees of Reservations.
