Understanding and Managing Soils

This course explores the biotic and abiotic components that create native soils and explains how these factors inform local flora. We will take a closer look at soil structure and soil biology in miniature lab experiments and discuss best management practices for healthy soils and landscapes. (This course is also offered in an in-person format.)
