Springtime Mustards

Learn to identify and describe 20-25 native and introduced spring-flowering species in the mustard family, in addition to their habitat preferences, including spring fields, woods, and wetlands, and New England distributions. Explore how to distinguish these early spring-blooming species from one another as you engage in an interactive presentation, study herbarium specimens, and look for examples of these species during a walk in the neighborhood near Garden in the Woods.
