Botany is Survival: How to Use Art to Get the Word Out
In this workshop, artist Kari Percival will introduce how she explores and identifies key scientific concepts, designs visual imagery, and hones wording to share messages. You'll learn how art can enlist allies to a call to action to help rescue our most beloved home and natural communities from extinction. With a hands-on focus on wordsmithing and image-crafting, you will learn how to pair your botany expertise with art to empower an audience of allies with key information, eye-catching images, and tools for action.
