Basic Wetland ID and Delineation

This two-day course introduces the principal elements of wetland
identification: wetland hydrology, hydric soils, and hydrophytic plants. We
will identify plants in the field, place a delineation line, and utilize web
resources. We will also discuss the recent U.S. Supreme Court case and how it
affects federal jurisdiction. Recommended gear includes a field notebook,
field guides, soil color charts, an auger, and rainwear. Bring a bag lunch.
A pre-class test will be provided.

We regret that this class has been cancelled due to low enrollment.
